Creating Lasting Impact Through Our Programs

The mission of the Jenkins Family Community Outreach and Education Program at the Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg and Family Depression Center is rooted in delivering effective, evidence-based mental health programming directly into communities.

We are committed to offering a diverse range of evidence-based practices and programs tailored to meet the distinct needs of individuals throughout our community. Whether you’re a student navigating academic pressures, a military veteran adjusting to campus life, or a professional facing workplace challenges, our programs are designed to provide meaningful support exactly where it’s needed most.

Our donors play an integral role in delivering these programs to communities where people live, learn, and work. This year, the Jenkins Foundation made a $3 million gift to re-name the Eisenberg Family Depression Center’s outreach and education programs. This naming gift is transformative to our outreach and education efforts.

“The foundation’s generosity is critical to sustaining and expanding our established programs. It will also allow us to be agile in the design and implementation of new programs so we can respond to the ever-changing mental health needs in our communities as they arise,” says Michelle Kees, associate professor of psychiatry and faculty lead of the Eisenberg Family Depression Center’s outreach and education initiatives.

Donor support helps us reach more people and deepen the impact of our practices and programs. Together, we are building a future where everyone is equipped to understand and address mental health challenges with knowledge and compassion.
